Five-week Pride novice league from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm on Saturdays
Join us for a welcoming and inclusive Saturday experience and help us build the 2SLGBTQIA+ community in South Vancouver! For curlers with some experience, develop your skills, enjoy friendly competition, and meet new people.
The Saturday 11:30 am Pride Novice League runs for five Saturdays, 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, from Jan.31 to Mar.7 with no curling on Feb.7 & Feb.28.
Participants can sign up as individuals to be placed on teams, as part of a team of four, or as a partial team looking for one or two others. Registration closes when our set number of curlers is reached, regardless of whether you may have listed other people as curling with you.
A curling instructor is on hand each week to provide help to those who need it. These leagues are suitable for people who have been through a curling clinic or program or had limited curling experience. Please do not sign up with no curling experience.
Curling equipment is provided, including grippers and step-on sliders for your feet, brushes and delivery stabilizers.
Participants will also need to pay the Marpole Curling Club, Curling Canada, Curl BC annual membership fees and a one time MCC Special Levy if you have not already done so for the 2025-26 season.
