A fun league for children from 7- 20 to learn the basic skills of curling while making new friends!
Curling offers an excellent, cost-effective way to get kids exercising while exposing them to one of the best sports in the world.
Kids aged 11 to 20 are welcome to join our regular junior/juvenile program. No experience is necessary. As well as the basics, youth have the opportunity to participate in bonspiels held at Marpole and other local clubs. This is from 11:45 am to 1:45pm on Sundays.
Marpole has two full sheets worth of “Little Rocks” to allow the youngest of curlers to get started before graduating to the full weight curling stones. We accept kids from approximately age 7 to 10 in our Little Rocks program. With our group of coaches and volunteers, your kids will learn the fundamentals of the game and will progress through a program designed to give them exposure to all aspects of the game of curling including strategy, sportsmanship, leadership, etc as well as offering them a fun environment where they can get exercise and meet new people. Little Rocks Curling is from 12:15 to 1:45pm on Sundays.
