A casual mixed league with a range of beginner to intermediate curlers
The Sunday Night Open Curling League welcomes experienced and novice curlers. This league is comprised of a diverse mix of players, from teenagers to seniors, and a mix of talents and experience. It is a casual league, and newcomers are welcome.
If you’re brand new to curling, we suggest that newcomers take a few novice lessons first to learn about safety and etiquette, plus of course, how to deliver the rock. Check out our Learn to Curl page for information on how to get started.
New players and skips are encouraged to ask for assistance when needed from their team mates and opponents. The league has enjoyed full capacity for the past few years, so new singles, couples and teams should contact the Marpole Curling Club or the league organizer in late August to check on availability.
Players are to pay $30 membership fee, $20 Facility Improvement Fee, $18 Curl BC & $2 Curl Canada Fees.
